The Home Builders Association of Wayne and Holmes Counties’ 2019 Parade of Homes starts September 20th, and our Showcase home is ready for its big reveal.
The Parade of Homes is one of our favorite times of the year. It’s a chance to meet with people who love home building as much as we do - whether they’re there for inspiration, looking to build, or just want to see the latest in design. And we want to welcome each person as a guest in this home - a home that is really special to us.
This year’s home is located at 1496 Logan Lane in Wooster, a quiet development with sidewalks and ample yard space out back. A 3 bedroom, 2 bath Modern Farmhouse, it has a level of curb appeal that is hard to match, with its layout, symmetry, and rich, inviting colors. We’re especially looking forward to showcasing this floor plan, which is a modification of the Oliver, found here. It’s open and airy, with generous volume ceilings, grand windows, and a functional flow.
When you walk in, you’ll most certainly think of one word: COLOR. And, boy, it’s a good thing. Neutral tones bring balance to the rich hues and the effect really is a breath of fresh air. While the colors welcome you in, they’re just the beginning. If you’re a kitchen person, (like we are), get ready. Cambria Quartz countertops flow seamlessly into a matching backsplash. Industrial neutrals are incorporated into the kitchen colors. We hope you’ll take the time to feel the quality of our locally Amish-made Signature Cabinets. Cheaply-made cabinets are many home buyers' biggest regrets in the long run, so we take long-lasting quality craftsmanship seriously.
So what else can you expect? A soaking tub, tile shower, and walk-in closet create a master bath oasis. The guest bath is just as beautiful, and there is a laundry and drop zone to minimize clutter.
